Appalachian National Scenic Trail

This 2,158-mile footpath runs from Mount Katahdin in Maine to Springer Mountain in Georgia, traversing 14 states. The New Hampshire portion of the trail features the rugged White Mountains, which attracts more backcountry visitors than any other part of the Trail.

Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site

Includes the home, gardens, and studios of Augustus Saint-Gaudens (1848-1907), one of America's foremost sculptors.
