Goddard Memorial State Park

Located in the city of Warwick, Goddard Memorial State Park is the states’ most popular metropolitan park offering its’ patrons a beautiful natural environment. During spring, summer and fall, equestrians and hikers share 18 miles of trails that weave through the pine and oak woods. In winter, cross-country skiers take to the snow-covered bridle paths. Winter activities at this 489-acre park also include hiking, jogging, and ice skating.

Lincoln Woods State Park

Located in the town of Lincoln, Lincoln Woods State Park is one of Blackstone Valley’s great treasures. A short ride from major metropolitan areas (Providence and Pawtucket), it is a popular get-away for northeastern Rhode Islanders. Winter activities at this 627-acre park include horseback riding, hiking, walking and jogging, ice skating (on an outdoor ice rink), ice fishing, and snowmobiling.
