Delaware State Park Jobs and Career Opportunities

by Darren Smith
for About.com

There are roughly three categories of jobs in Delaware State Parks: 1) naturalists (interpreters); 2) enforcement (rangers); and 3) administration (superintendents). All of Delaware's park naturalists have completed Certified Interpreter Training through the National Association of Interpreters. Their rangers complete training with the Delaware State Police, and their superintendents are long-term professionals. They also utilize AmeriCorps members and have a strong, well-trained volunteer base. Click here for information on how to apply for Delaware state park jobs.
