Hot Springs National Park is no stranger to honeymooners and it's no surprise why. The park first became popular in the 1920's when visitors sought relief from ailments and stress in the waters of Hot Springs. Today, it is just as popular for spas offering a relaxing getaway as well as outdoor activities like hiking, horseback riding, and exhibits.
A guided tour is a great way to get around the park but if you want some solo time with your valentine, be sure to stroll through the Bathhouse Row National Historic Landmark District. You can even take a traditional bath! The Buckstaff Baths and the more modern Quapaw Baths and Spa are must-visits for the romantics. Choose from a thermal bath, whirlpool, steam cabin, or massage; then again, why choose just one?
After a relaxing day at the spa, plan a picnic at one of the park picnic areas or take a scenic drive through the mountain roads. No matter what you do, it will be romantic!
