I honestly feel that Father’s Day is the most difficult occasion to buy for. Finding my dad a gift each year seems impossible, and is never any easier when he says, “I don’t need a thing so save your money.” While I have tried the typical golf balls, mugs, t-shirts, tools, and movies, it seems like the one thing Dad wants more than anything is time with his kid.
This year, take your dad’s advice and save your money. Instead, take dad to a national park for some quality time together. You can enjoy the outdoors together, partake in activities like hiking, fishing, or camping, and perhaps even start a Father’s Day tradition.
