Welcome to the Arches National Park photo gallery. Located near Moab, UT, Arches preserves more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches, as well as many other unusual rock formations. Throughout the park, rock layers reveal millions of years of deposition, erosion and other geologic events. These amazing geological features provide a landscape of contrasting colors, landforms and textures.
