America's Best Idea Photo Exhibit opened at Biscayne and Everglades national parks on November 30th. The exhibit includes panoramic photos of all 58 national parks by Stan Jorstad, renowned photographer and cinematographer. The unique, two-venue show features half of the photos at Biscayne National Park's Dante Fascell Visitor Center and the remainder at Everglades National Park's Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center. The exhibit will run through February 2, 2008 and is part of a continuing series of art exhibits at the parks, made possible locally by the South Florida National Parks Trust.
The Everglades Association is selling copies of America's Best Idea, a companion coffee table book, at both parks during the exhibition, and proceeds will help benefit the educational, scientific, historical and research efforts of the National Park Service in South Florida.
