Q. What topics will be covered?
A. Basically, anything and everything related to national and state parks. By posting messages, you can share experiences about places you've visited, ask questions, or make comments and get feedback from others. The purpose of this Bulletin Board is to allow people interested in parks to "network" with each other.
Q. Are there rules of behavior?
A. Please be respectful of each other. From time to time there may be heated discussion on a park- or conservation-related issue, but those discussions should remain civil. Keep in mind that the site is used by people of all ages and from different countries, so any postings that include profanity will need to be removed from the board.
Q. Can I disagree with another person's opinion?
A. Absolutely. In fact, it will be really interesting to see the expression of differing points of view on our board. Just remember that the best way to disagree with someone is to state your position logically and without personally attacking the other person.
Q. Where can I find answers to other questions about national and state parks?
A. Take a look at my main page. It includes links to hundreds of national parks, national trails, federal resources, conservation organizations, state park agencies and tourism offices, and a lot more. Also feel free to post your question on the bulletin board or send me e-mail.
