Everglades National Park

There are 26 types of snakes found in Everglades National Park, ranging in size from the poisonous pygmy rattler, seldom more than two feet long, to the threatened indigo snake, which can grow to be over eight feet long. Many of the snakes found in the park are adapted to survive in the water.
