Everglades National Park

Everglades National Park is the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles exist side by side. How can you tell an American alligator from an American crocodile? 1) the alligator has a broad snout while the crocodile has a narrow snout; 2) adult alligator generally has blackish coloration, while crocodile has olive brown coloration; 3) only teeth of the upper jaw are visible on alligator when jaws are closed, while teeth of both jaws are visible on the crocodile when jaws are closed.
