Mount McKinley has two peaks--the South Peak, which is 20,320 feet high; and the North Peak, which is 19,470 feet high. For many years it was believed that the height of the South Peak was 20,269 feet, but in 1956 the U.S. Geological Survey established the height as 20,320 feet.
