Description: Canada's first national marine park protects 22 islands at the mouth of Georgian Bay and a main ecosystem that extends from the surface water down 200 meters. The remains of 22 known sail and steam vessels from the mid-19th to the early 20th century lie within the park boundaries and may be viewed by diving or from one of the glass-bottom tours boats operating out of Tobermory. Flowerpot Island and the picturesque rock formations from which it derived its name are among Canada's most recognized and most popular natural attractions. Bruce Peninsula National Park is located nearby
