Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts

Size: 130 acres

Location: Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is located near Vienna, Virginia, outside I-495 (Capital Beltway), between VA 7 and VA 267 (Dulles Toll Rd.) 

Description: At this first national park for the performing arts, Filene Center can accommodate an audience of 7,000, including 3,000 on the sloping lawn in a setting of rolling hills and woods.

Activities: During the summer months, the most popular activities are attending a show at the Filene Center or the Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods. Ranger programs include nature walks and the Performance Preview Series. 
During the fall, winter, and spring, visitors can enjoy backstage tours of the Filene Center. 

Operating Hours: The park is open daily to the public from 7 a.m. to dusk, with more limited hours during non-performance-related park festivals and Filene Center performances. 

History: Authorized on October 15, 1966.
