Size: 328 acres. 

Location: Thomas Stone National Historic Site is located near Port Tobacco, Maryland, between MD 6 and 225. 

Description: "Haberdeventure," a Georgian mansion built in 1771 near Port Tobacco, Maryland, was the home of Thomas Stone from 1771 to 1787. A signer of the Declaration of Independence, Stone was a delegate to the Continental Congress, 1775-1778 and 1783-1784.

Activities: Visitors can enjoy ranger-led tours of Haberdeventure, or experience the park on their own by visiting the grounds, farm buildings, and the old farm trace roads. The visitor center includes exhibits and an orientation film.

Operating Hours: Open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day and from Wednesday-Sunday from Labor Day to Memorial Day. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
