Size: 1,022 acres. 

Location: Ninety Six National Historic Site is located 2 miles south of the town of Ninety Six, South Carolina, on SC 248. Accessible via I-26 and SC 34, I-20 and US 25, or I-85 and SC 178.

Description: This important colonial backcountry trading village and government seat (after 1769) was held briefly by the British during the Revolutionary War and is the scene of Nathanael Greene's siege in 1781. The site contains earthwork embankments of a 1781 fortification, the remains of two historic villages, a colonial plantation complex, and numerous prehistoric sites.

Activities: Visitors can enjoy a short video, explore the museum and exhibits, and walk the one mile interpretive trail.

Operating Hours: Park is open daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm; closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
