Location: The New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park Visitor Center is located near the French Market in the French Quarter at 916 N. Peters, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Description: Park interprets jazz as it has evolved in New Orleans and assists a range of organizations involved with jazz and its history.
Activities: The park visitor center includes an orientation and information desk, an indoor and outdoor stage for live performances and interpretive programs, and video documentaries. A calendar of interpretive activities is published quarterly. Programs include musical performances covering a range of jazz styles, music demonstrations, lectures on a wide variety of jazz related topics, ranger-guided and self-guided walking tours of significant historical jazz sites in the French Quarter, and special events.

The park headquarters
is open from Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
The French Quarter Visitor Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00am
to 5:00pm, except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
