Size: 3,945 acres. 

Location: Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial is located on IN 162, 2 miles east of Gentryville, Indiana, and 4 miles south of Dale, Indiana. 

Description: On this southern Indiana farm, Abraham Lincoln spent 14 of the most formative years of his life and grew from youth into manhood (1816-1829). His mother, Nancy Hanks Lincoln, is buried here.

Activities: The Lincoln Living Historical Farm is a re-created pioneer homestead with a cabin, outbuildings, split rail fences, farm animals, vegetable and herb gardens and field crops. Rangers in period clothing perform a variety of activities typical of the 1820 era. 

Operating Hours: The Memorial is open daily, December through February: 8:00am to 4:30pm; March through November: 8:00am to 5:00pm; closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The Living Historical Farm is open every day from mid-April through September; from November through mid-April the buildings are closed and are not staffed, however, visitors may still visit the farm and browse about the area.
