Size: 0.1 acre. 

Location: The John F. Kennedy National Historic Site is located on Beals Street in the Boston, Massachusetts, suburb of Brookline. 

Description: This house was the birthplace (in 1917) and early boyhood home of the 35th President, as well as the first home shared by the president's father and mother, Joseph P. and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Activities: Guided tours of the birthplace, as well as the nearby neighborhood including homes, schools, and church associated with the Kennedy family.

Operating Hours: Open Wednesday-Sunday, from mid-May through the end of October from 10:00am to 4:30pm. Closed every Monday and Tuesday and major holidays throughout the year; closed 7 days/week for the winter season beginning at the end of October. Group tours require advance reservations.

History: Authorized on May 26, 1967; established as a national historic site in 1969.
