Size: 2,501 acres. 

Location: Hohokam Pima National Monument is located in Sacaton, in south-central Arizona, north of Casa Grande.

Description: Preserved here are the archeological remains of the Hohokam culture, including artwork, homes, irrigation canals, and tools dating from about 300 BC to AD 1200. Hohokam is a Pima Indian word meaning "those who have gone."

Operating Hours: Not open to the public. 

History: Authorized on October 21, 1972.
