Size: 62 acres. 

Location: Hampton National Historic Site is located north of Baltimore, Maryland. From I-695 take Exit 27B north (Dulaney Valley Road) and then a right on Hampton Lane. From downtown Baltimore take I-83 (Jones Fall Expressway) to I-695 east toward Towson to Exit 27B. 

Description: This is a fine example of the lavish Georgian mansions built in America during the latter part of the 18th century. Site includes mansion, gardens and grounds, and original stone slave quarters.

Activities: The park remains open with activities and programs originating from the farmhouse even as the mansion is currently closed for the installation of a new climate control system. Farm tours are offered daily at 11am and 2pm. There are ample opportunities for exploration outside, including the family cemetery, slave quarters, stables and beautiful gardens and grounds with several state champion trees.

Operating Hours: The farmhouse is open daily from 9:30am-4:00pm. A small Gift Shop is located in the farmhouse. Park grounds are open daily from 9:00am-5:00pm. Call 410-823-1309 x226 for updates on how long the mansion will be closed.

History: Designated on June 22, 1948.
