Located in Seneca Falls, New York, the Women's Rights National Historical Park commemorates the First Women's Rights Convention and the early leadership in the women's rights movement in the United States. It was authorized by Congress as a unit of the National Park Service in December of 1980. The park includes the home of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the leader of the women's rights movement; the Wesleyan Chapel, which hosted the First Women's Rights Convention; Declaration Park; the M'Clintock House, where the Declaration of Sentiments was written; a visitor center; and an Education and Cultural Center, which houses the Suffrage Press Printshop.

In the summer of 1848, 300 women and 40 men met in Seneca Falls to discuss the status of women and to call for action and change. At the conclusion, 68 women and 32 men signed the Declaration of Sentiments drafted by Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
