Zion National Park

Lodging:

Zion Lodge is the only accommodation located inside Zion National Park. It was designed by Gilbert Stanley Underwood and built in 1925 with money from the Union Pacific Railroad to replace the earlier tent camp. The original lodge was destroyed by fire in 1966 and a new building was completed within 100 days. During the winter of 1989-1990 the exterior of the lodge was restored to its original historic appearance.

The Zion Lodge includes motel units, cabins, a restaurant, snack bar, and gift shop. For information on accommodations, contact AMFAC Parks and Resorts at 303-297-2757 or visit their web site. The lodge is open year round and advance reservations are recommended. Dinner reservations are advised from spring through fall.
