Padre Island's sunny climate is characterized by long, hot summers and short, mild winters. In summer, high temperatures average in the high 80s and low 90s, with lows in the 70s. Afternoon and evening sea breezes help to moderate summer temperatures. IN the winter, highs are commonly in the 60s, with lows in the 40s and 50s. In spring and fall high temperatures average in the 70s and 80s, with lows in the 50s and 60s.
