Camping:
Located just four miles inside the park, the Morefield Campground (open from late-April through mid-October) includes more than 430 standard campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis. All campsites have a table, benches, and grill. Services at the campground include groceries, carryout food, gasoline, firewood, showers, and a laundromat. Campfire programs are offered every evening from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Three hiking trails originate in the Morefield area. For further information on the campground, call 1-800-449-2288. Several commercial campgrounds are located near the park entrance.
