Mammoth Cave National Park

Things to Do:

In addition to a variety of Cave Tours at Mammoth Cave National Park, the park's 52,800 acres offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy a number of "above-ground" activities as well. Twenty-five miles of the Green River and six miles of the Nolin River are available for boating, canoeing, fishing and floodplain camping. The park also offers camping in three developed campgrounds.

In addition, the park offers a number of hiking and horse trails of various lengths, including 60 miles of trails north of the Green River, which are open for horseback riding. The nine-mile Mammoth Cave Railroad Bike & Hike Trail, which connects to the one-mile Park City bike trail, is designed with several entry points so that hikers and bikers may choose to cover the entire length or opt for shorter segments.
