Sites that interpret the history of the area include: 1) the Frijole Ranch History Museum, which preserves a springhouse, milkhouse, schoolhouse, bunkhouse, and barn; 2) The Pinery, which features the ruins of an 1858 stagecoach station; and 3) Williams Ranch, accessible by four-wheel-drive vehicles.
