Guadalupe Mountains National Park

Camping:

Camping is available year-round on a first-come, first-served basis at Dog Canyon and Pine Springs campgrounds. Both have water, fully accessible restrooms, tables, and sites for tents and RVs; no showers or hookups are available. Reservations are accepted for groups of ten or more.

The park's ten backcountry campgrounds require a free permit that may be obtained in person at the Headquarters Visitor Center or at the Dog Canyon Ranger Station. Water is available at trailheads, but not in backcountry areas.

No fires (including charcoal) are allowed in the park.
