Bryce Canyon National Park

Camping:

The National Park Service operates two campgrounds at Bryce Canyon National Park with a total of 218 sites. The North Campground, located east of park headquarters, is open year-round. Sunset Campground, located two miles south of park headquarters, is open from mid-May through the end of September. No reservations are taken at either campsite; both are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The length of stay is limited to 14 days per visit, 30 days per year. There is a limit of 6 people, 3 tents, and 2 vehicles per site. There are no hook-ups, but a fee-for-use sanitary dump station is available seasonally near North Campground.

There is a group campsite available by reservation only. Backcountry camping is allowed on a limited basis and only at designated campsites. A backcountry permit is required and these can be obtained at the visitor center. There are also a number of campgrounds situated just outside Bryce Canyon National Park.
