Getting to the Park:

By Car:
The park is located approximately 250 miles SW of Denver and is accessible via two entrances: The South Rim is 15 miles east of Montrose, via U.S. Hwy 50 and CO Hwy 347. The Visitor Center is two miles from the south rim entrance station on the South Rim Drive. The North Rim is 11 miles south of Crawford, via CO Hwy 92 and North Rim Road. The South Rim road is open from early April to mid-November and the North Rim Road and ranger station are closed in winter. The park is open year-round.

By Bus or Train: Bus service is available to Montrose, Gunnison, and Grand Junction, Colorado. Train service is available to Grand Junction.

By Air: There are commercial flights available to Montrose, Gunnison, Grand Junction.
