Big Cypress includes six campgrounds, five of which are for primitive camping only (no water or rest room facilities). Monument Lake Campground has flush toilets and water available, including an outside cold shower. Among the campgrounds, Bear Island, Mitchell's Landing, Monument Lake, and Pine Crest are open year round. Burns Lake is open from November 15 to January 4 only. Midway is open as needed during the main visitor use season. Campgrounds may close seasonally or temporarily for repairs or resource concerns. Please contact the visitor center for current campground information. The Visitor Center phone number is 239-695-1201.

Camping is also available  at three campgrounds inside nearby Everglades National Park as well as at various Florida's state parks.
