In honor of the Arizona Archaeology and Heritage Awareness Month in March, Casa Grande Ruins National Monument will host special tours of the park's backcountry area.

Tours will be on Saturday and Sunday mornings, starting on March 6th and ending on March 28th. Each tour will begin at 9 a.m. and will run for one hour. Visitors should plan to arrive at the park visitor center by 8:45 a.m. and will be charged regular entrance fees, unless you have an annual pass.

Participants must walk approximately 1.5 miles over uneven terrain. Sturdy shoes and water are recommended. Tours are limited to 10 people. A sign-up sheet is available at the visitor center or call 520-723-3172.
