Park rangers at Denali National Park and Preserve are inviting you to join them in exploring the park on weekend hikes this winter. Sounds fun, doesn't it?

The hikes will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, beginning on February 14. Hikers will meet at 1 p.m. at the Murie Science and Learning Center and participants will have opportunities to experience and learn about the winter environment of the park and interior Alaska. A limited number of snowshoes are available for use during the hike, so bring your own equipment if possible. Hikes will last for 2-3 hours so dress warmly and bring lunch or snacks.

Additional information on winter activities is available online or by calling 907-683-9532.
