Members of the Greater Yellowstone community have been invited to share their holiday memories by participating in the "Holidays in Yellowstone" oral history project. The Yellowstone National Park Oral History Collection contains recordings from early park rangers, former presidents, and others who have visited the park or grown up in the area.
Area residents are encouraged to interview friends and family members of all ages regarding their favorite Yellowstone holiday memories, and then submit copies of the recordings to: The Holiday Oral History Project c/o Charissa Reid, P.O. Box 168, Yellowstone National Park, WY 82190.
If you need help getting started, check out sample questions online or conatct Charissa Reid, the park's Oral Historian, at 307-244-2260, or by email.
