Reward Offered for Kane Cemetery Vandalism

Between Halloween and November 13, 2009, the historic Kane Cemetery at Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area was vandalized. Thirty one grave sites where desecrated and the damage ranged from pushing over and breaking headstones to spray painting monuments.

The Park Service is currently investigating this crime and is offering a $1000.00 reward for the successful prosecution and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the vandalism.
