This December 12, grab the family and head to San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park for "Christmas At Sea!" This special holiday celebration will feature live music, refreshments, ornament-making, costumed characters, and a special visit from Santa Claus.

Daytime activities include traditional sea songs performed by the Dogwatch Nautical Band aboard the historic Eureka and ornament making. Your national park pass will waive all admission fees, otherwise admission is $5 for adults and free for ages 15 and under.

Santa will arrive at 4:20 p.m. to listen to all the kids' wishes. Evening activities will follow and reservations are required. At 6 p.m., the park's Living History Players will take visitors back to Christmas in 1901 with a guided lamp tour. Call 415-447-5000 for more information.
