Petrified Forest to Celebrate 103rd Anniversary

On December 8, 2009 Petrified Forest National Park will celebrate its 103rd Anniversary! Many activities will be offered for visitors including:

• Anniversary and Holiday Open House at the Painted Desert National Historic Landmarkenjoy hot drinks, cookies and treats, and holiday cheer.
• Demonstration of traditional art work at the Painted Desert National Historic Landmark
• Tour of the Painted Desert Inn
• Late Triassic Ranger Program at the Rainbow Forest Museum
• Tour of Puerco Pueblo and Petroglyphs
