Two years ago, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service believed grizzlies in and around Yellowstone National Park had recovered from near-extermination and no longer needed protection under the Endangered Species Act. However, in September U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy said climate change and lax regulations threatened the bears' recovery. Molloy ordered the bears back onto the list, and government attorneys asked that he reconsider. But on Tuesday, Molloy rejected the government's argument and confirmed his earlier ruling.

I would hate to see the bears become extinct from Yellowstone. I was fortunate enough to see eight of them when I was there last. Awesome creatures. More about Yellowstone is at http://www.sightseeingreview.com/yellowstonenationalpark.php
