Celebrate this Independence Day with the reopening of the Statue of Liberty’s crown! July 4th marks the first time since the 9/11 terrorist attacks that the crown will be open to the public. But you better make your reservation ASAP.

Crown visit reservations will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, June 13. They will be made on a first come, first served basis. You may book online or by calling 877-523-9849. Tickets for the crown are $3 each and four tickets may be ordered per customer. You may also make reservations up to one year in advance.

To make sure everyone has a safe and secure visit to the crown, the Park Service has issued several regulations. A maximum of 30 people per hour will be allowed on the steps leading to the crown. No more than 10 visitors will be allowed in the crown at any time and will be accompanied by a ranger. Also, children must be at least four feet tall.
